Bike to Work Week

Powell River

Bike to Work Week 2015: May 25 - 31

Registration is now closed, but you can still log your kilometers!

Thank you for an other successful BTWW

We had a very successful Bike to Work and School Week! We had great weather and more than doubled our participation in 2014. 392 riders cycled 7,437 kms, burning 223,106 calories and saving 1612kg of greenhouse gases! (Saturday stats)

A reminder to everyone to finish logging your trips by June 9th. Remember there is a grand prize draw for a cycling trip from Prague to Budapest to be drawn from all registered riders over 18 who have logged at least one trip. Congratulations to all of the daily prize winners, as well as our wind up winner,  Lieve  and our bike helmet winners Maddie from Westview Elementary and Kayden from Henderson.

Thanks to all of our sponsors for their generous donations for our Celebration Station water, coffee and snacks, snacks for the schools, and prizes. And to all of the riders, thank-you for participating and promoting commuter cycling in our community!
