Comox Valley

Event Info

Each weekday during Bike to Work Week there will be Celebration Stations in various locations all around the valley, as in previous years.

You'll be able to grab a snack to keep you going, say hello to fellow bike commuters, catch a wave of encouragement and perhaps win a prize!

Why not plan to leave a little extra time to check one out on the way to, or from, work?

Here is a list of the great events planned for this year.

Monday May 28 - Friday June 1 6:45 - 8:45 am Simon’s Cycles will be at the I-Hos Gallery parking lot, Comox (Dyke) Road
Once again Simon's Cycles will be donating a brand new commuter bike, register and log at least one trip during the week to be entered into the free prize draw!

Monday May 28 - Friday June 1 6:30 - 8:00 am 19 Wing/CFB Comox Corner of Ryan Road and Military Row, with the annual Unit challenge on Thursday May 31 where Units compete for the largest numbers biking in to work.

Wednesday May 30 7:30 - 8:30 am Royston Elementary School parking lot

Wednesday May 30 7:45 - 9:00 am Cumberland Recreation / Community Schools Campus

Wednesday May 30 8:30 - 10:00 am and 2:15 - 3:15 pm Comox Community Centre, Robb Avenue

Friday June 1 7:00 - 9:00 am Lewis Centre parking lot The City of Courtenay/Comox Valley Cycling Coalition

Once again we are thrilled to be working with our local RCMP and Crime Stoppers to help promote 529 Garage, the community-based bike registration and recovery service. Look for local members at the different celebration stations throughout the week.

Check back often for more info.
