Unfortunately the Boys and Girls Club Bike to Work (and School!) Week BBQ in the park scheduled for 5pm today has been cancelled due to the weather. It is wet out there!! We look forward to better weather tomorrow and hope to see you all out at the Friday Night Market. We'll be gathering around 6:30 pm for Bike Soccer and will announce the prize winners for the week at 7 pm. The market starts at 3 pm and runs until 8 pm; come down and check out what our local producers have to offer!!

Pop over to Barking Spider on your lunch hour (12:10-12:40) and learn what to do when your chain breaks mid-ride. Save yourself from having to run-bike yourself back from whatever adventure you've been out on and let the guys at the shop give you some quick tips to fix your chain on the fly!

It's Monday - Bike to Work Week Day 1!!! Here's a list of today's Bike to Work week happenings:
Join the guys at Barking Spider from 12:10-12:40 to learn how to change a flat tire. This is the biggest must-know skill for cycling and the one thing you don't want leaving you stranded roadside. Even if you left the bike at home today, stroll over on your lunch break and watch our local mechanics demo a smooth tire change.
Check out our local coffee shops for Bike to Work Week deals throughout the week. Pedaling can make you thirsty! These deals require 'proof of pedalling' so make sure to show up with your bike nearby and your helmet on!
