Our GVCC Rides Committee organizes interesting rides for the general public, and we are holding our Victoria Picnic ride to coincide with the end of Victoria BTWW on Sunday May 17, 2009:

Celebrate the end of Bike to Work Week by joining in on our bicycle ride and picnic! The ride begins at the Trans Canada Trail Pavilion at the south end of the Selkirk Trestle on the Galloping Goose trail at 10:00 a.m. Bring a potluck picnic lunch to share at the stop in Beacon Hill park to listen to concerts performed by visiting American high school bands. The ride is approximately 30 easy kilometres and ends back at the Selkirk Trestle.
