All of these resources and participant stickers will also be available at the Bike Swap, at the Celebration Stations, or by contacting urban@pgcyclingclub.ca. Make sure your workplace team is safe, prepared and confident before hitting the road

Freebie:
• Try asking other BTWW particpants through Facebook: link to Facebook group
• Sign up for Prince George Freecycle and hookup with those in need and those with a bike to lend: link to Freecycle
• visit the Swap Shack at the Foothills waste station to look for buried treasures
• Payback: call up a friend who owes you a favour and borrow their bike
• Keep up with the Jones: maybe it’s time to meet the neighbours and admire their shiny bike that never leaves the garage - make a trade for use of your lawnmower or a free day of pooper scooping!
Cheapster:
• Go garage saleing over the weekend, Friday’s PG Citizen provides you with a map of all garage sales; while you’re at it post some signs up at the dozens of community boards around the city
• Stroll through downtown and visit a Pawn shop: Aces, PG Pawn, PG New & Used (17th Ave), Spruce City Resale
• Contribute to a good cause and visit a charity store – Value Village, St. Vincent de Paul, Bibles for Mission, PG Mental Health, Salvation Army downtown and more locations at McGill Cresent, College Heights, Massey/West Central and Parkhill Center, North Nechako
• Peruse the PG classifieds: Prince George Bargain Finder ; Prince George Buy & Sell ; Prince George Citizen ; Used Prince George ; Craigslist ; Kijiji
Newbie:
• Big box stores will have lower priced bikes available under $200. Canadian Tire, Walmart, Zellers, Sears, Cosco, Sportmart, SportChek
• visit a bike shop …spring time is sale time!
Hipster:
• Buy right the first time. Visit a bike specialty shop and get decked out in style… Koops, Cycle Logic, Summerland Sport, Ruckus and Northern Cycle
