Bike to Work

Congratulations to Natalie West, Oak Bay’s Coordinator for winning the local government challenge!
Oak Bay had a full one third of their regular employees ride in during
BTWW.Last Year’s winner , Esquimalt, had another great turnout with
32.8% of their staff participating.
Altogether 497 Local Government employees participate in Bike
to Work Week 2009 or an average of 17% of the work force.Saanich Councillor Judy Brownoff will be presenting the annual trophy
to Oak Bay Mayor Chris Causton at an upcoming CRD Board meeting.*please note that numbers do not include Provincial Government employees.
