Bike to Work Week has official wrapped-up here in Prince George…
…but the work doesn’t end there!

More than half way done!
We are more than half way through Bike To Work Week and it has been a lot of fun. We have seen riders all week long, biking through rain, sleet, sun and wind- way to persevere Campbell River!
We had a lot of visitors out to the Celebration Stations
Breakfast at Frank James Park- over 100 visitors
Penticton - Commuters Content to Let It Ride (Penticton Western News)
No, Richard Batke isn’t joining the circus, he didn’t lose a wheel and couldn’t get his bike at half price.
He just chooses to get to work on one wheel instead of the traditional two or the gas-guzzling four.

Whistler Doubles Bike To Work Week Participants
Whistler doubles the number of teams and individuals registered for Bike to Work Week. Whistler’s history of BTWW is still fresh, being in its second year, run off the side of a few desks, and is cranking to become a popular yearly event in our community. Thanks to all the organizations and individuals who registered for BTWW 2009.
Prince George - 56 Workplace Teams Ready to Go!
Fifty-six workplace teams are registered and ready to go for Prince George’s first Bike to Work Week event. Check out the list to see if your workplace is involved. Registration is still open.
2009 Fraser Valley Celebration Station Schedule
Fraser Valley has the following Celebration Stations Scheduled for 2009:
Abbotsford
Monday, May 11
1. ICBC (Trethewey & George Ferguson Way) - 7-9 am
2. Sikh Temple (33094 South Fraser Way) - 3-5 pm
3. UFV Abbotsford Campus (by bike racks between A & B Buildings) - 7:45 am - 3:15 pm
Team Leaders Package, bike to work employee tracking form, and citizen cycling improvement request now available here
The Team Leaders Package, and employee tracking form are now available for downloading. Attached also are citizen cycling improvement forms. Please print these forms off and have your team members fill them out. We want to know if there were any places that cyclists had trouble on their commute.
