Campbell River - Bike To Work Week Creates Lifestyle Change
The staff at Christian Life Daycare are proof that Bike to Work Week can initiate some great changes in lifestyle and health. In 2008 Sheila Keats and Monica Brown, staff members at the Christian Life Daycare on Merecroft Road, Campbell River read about Bike to Work week in the Courier Islander. They decided to enter a team and asked other staff if they would like to participate.
Women On Wheels 2009
Ladies, if you are interested in taking part in the second annual Comox Valley Bike to Work Week from May 11th to 17th but are unsure of yourself on two wheels, then register for the FREE Women On Wheels course.
Basic safe riding skills and techniques will be presented, such as gear shifting, braking techniques, cornering, balancing, and general road safety.
