Bike to Work

The Comox Valley Cycling Coalition invites all Mayors, Councillors and staff of City of Courtenay, Town of Comox, Village of Cumberland and the Comox Valley Regional District to participate in a Municipal Challenge.

The Municipality with the most people riding to work during Bike To Work Week*, will win a trophy and bragging rights until the following year.

There’s just a week and a half to go before this year’s Bike To Work Week (May 28th - June 3rd) and plans are taking shape.

If you are new to bike commuting, here are a few tips to help you prepare and make it an enjoyable experience.

Kids, come join the fun and celebrate being a pedal-head at Bike To The Playground.

We’ll be decorating our bikes and learning the rules of the sidewalk, as well as taking a great pedal through the park, from 10 a.m. to Noon Wednesday, May 30.

Active Comox Valley, in partnership with the Comox Valley Cycling Coalition are offering a FREE Safe Cycling Course!
