It's a wrap
So, that’s another year in the books, this evening’s wrap up party at The Broken Spoke was a great success, with a big turnout and many stories of bike commuting this past week, through glorious sunshine, wind and rainstorms.

Fantastic final Friday morning
What a fantastic end to the work week, the sun was shining and the weather was warm enough to convince even the occasional commuter that it was better to go by bike this morning.

Fine weather on day four
Thursday morning and Cumberland along with the rest of the Comox Valley was calm, bright and dry

Wet Wednesday
Wednesday morning had us thinking it was November rather than June at the Celebration Station outside the iHos Gallery

but the wet windy weather wasn’t a deterrent to the 29 commuters who either sped by, or slowed down to grab a snack and laugh about the rain!
Day two and numbers increase
Tuesday morning started a lot warmer, drier and generally more Spring like which was a relief to the large numbers of folks riding to work at CFB Comox today.

Spring is in the air in the Comox Valley and the third annual Bike to Work week is fast approaching!

From Monday May 31st until Sunday June 6th more folks than ever are expected to leave their cars at home and enjoy commuting by bike.
