Bike to Work Skills Course for Communities
Fear of traffic and insufficient cycling skills tend to be an important barrier for people beginning commuter cycling. The Bike to Work Skills Course provides comprehensive training in navigating a cycle safely in traffic. The course consists of part in-class, parking lot exercises and on-road riding with Can-Bike II qualified instructors and is offered free of charge to participants. Safety training is an essential aspect of ensuring a successful Bike to Work Week program.
Bike to Work Skills Courses are presently available in:
Greater Victoria (provided by Greater Victoria Bike to Work Society)
Metro Vancouver. and the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley (provided by HUB)
