New Bike Lanes in Abbotsford great for Cyclists
The City of Abbotsford with support from the Provincial Government and ICBC officially opened a new bike lane on Tuesday October 9, 2007. Councillor Lynne Harris cut the ribbon on the new bike lane which stretches from Bevan Avenue toPeardonville Road.
Local MLAs John van Dongen and Mike DeJong joined the event along with the Abbotsford Police bike squad.
The Abbotsford Cycling Action Group looks to Bike to Work Week 2008, with hopes that the new bicycle infrastructure improvements will see heavy use!
